Launching
Give your token a name and an image, and sign once. The ticker and the description fill themselves in from the name, and you can change either before you sign.
The only cost is the network's launch fee, shown on the form before you sign, plus gas. Under More options you can pick the pair, add an opening buy, lock it, set your tax and add your links.
The fair open
Every token on Astra opens with a pool. For its first 60 seconds nobody buys directly: every buy joins the pool instead. When the time is up, the whole pool buys in one trade, and every buyer gets tokens in proportion to the ETH they put in.
So everyone in the first minute pays the same price. Joining in the first second or the last gets the same deal, and a bot that is fastest gains nothing by it. The creator's opening buy joins the same pool, at the same price.
Your share is simple: your ETH divided by all the ETH pooled. The token page shows the countdown, how many buyers are in and how much is pooled, live.
Limit orders
Pick Limit on any token's page to sell some or all of your tokens when the market cap reaches a price, or to buy when it drops to one. You do not need to be online when it happens.
Orders are paid from your deposit in Astra's order contract. The deposit stays yours: Astra's bot can only use it to fill the orders you placed, at the prices you set, and you can cancel an order or withdraw what is not in use at any time on the Orders page.
Creator locks
A creator who makes an opening buy can lock it for 7, 30 or 90 days. The tokens release evenly over that time, and nobody can move them sooner, the creator included.
A locked buy shows on the token's page: how much, until when and how much has released so far.
Stock pairs
A token can trade against ETH or against a tokenised stock such as SPY or NVDA. Buyers pay in ETH either way; for a stock pair, Astra routes the ETH through the stock in the same transaction.
Creator earnings
Creators keep their own token's trading tax. It is collected on every trade and sent to the creator automatically, with nothing to claim by hand.
Trading
Once a token's fair open has filled, buy from anywhere on the site in one tap with the quick-buy buttons, or use the trade console on its page. Every trade is run against the chain first, and you see what you will get before your wallet opens.
While a token is on its curve, it trades against the curve. Once the curve sells out, it graduates to a pool and keeps trading there, from the same buttons.
The $ASTRA burn
Fees from $ASTRA's own trading buy $ASTRA on the open market, and the burn pot destroys what it buys. At most every 30 minutes, never more than 1% of the market's depth at once.
The tokens are burned, not sent to a dead address, so the total supply itself goes down, and every explorer shows the lower number. Every burn is listed on the burn page with its transaction.
Risk signals
Every token page, and the checker for any token on the chain, shows facts read from the chain: what the contract can do, how much the creator and the biggest wallets hold, and whether the creator's buy is locked. They are facts, not a verdict.
Contracts
No contract can be upgraded: a fix would be a new contract, announced in the open. Nobody can take funds out of the burn pot, and nobody but you can take your deposit out of the order contract.
API
Everything on the site can be read as JSON, by anyone, with no key. Each caller gets a fair share of requests per minute; answers are a second or two fresh at most.
